The Rise of Domestic Terrorism

White Supremacist group activity is on the rise, and what is the President doing about it? Trump planned to invite Angel Families to his now postponed SOU. While these families have undoubtedly suffered as a voter of color, I am left to wonder what about families like those of Timothy Caughman targeted and killed by James Harris Jackson in an attempt to start a race war.
During his tenure, White supremacists groups’ activity has jumped, and they are “directly responsible” for the majority of extreme killings in America. What is Trump’s plan to protect American citizens of color against this domestic terrorism? Is he going to demand to fund or combat these groups, or he’ll shut down the government? Or does he not care about the ever-increasing rise of white supremacists and, by extension, the safety of American citizens if their skin color is a shade of brown.

Threats of Violence – Is that what some think will make America great again?

Yes I am a democrat, yes I am voting for Clinton but I have always believed that no matter who you support or vote for the actual act of voting is the most important thing. I may disagree with you even vehemently but at the end of the day one of the things that makes America great is the fact we can disagree, vote and have the PEACEFUL transfer of power. It has been that way since our government was founded. But now that process is being threatened and it is time to call it like it is. Trump with his talk of a rigged election, with no evidence to support his claims, is nothing but a THUG! His talk of a rigged election is to do nothing more than to bring out this type of reaction in his more ardent supporters.

push comes to shove,” he added, and Mrs. Clinton “has to go by any means necessary, it will be done.”

Threats of Violence,
Threats of Voter intimidation
Threats directed at the opposing candidates

Is this what will make America great again?
I think not.
Let’s call the individuals who call for this type of action what they are, what FOX news would blast out to the world if they were democrats. THUGS!!!

Maybe it’s time to stop worrying about silent protests of athletes kneeling during the national anthem and worry about the real threat. The threat of blood being spilled at the hands of thugs who support Trump and their ringleader Trump himself who all but calls for it.

Hate is hate no matter how you label it

More senseless deaths; more families left to mourn the loss of loved ones; more cries from churches, synagogues and other places of worship of why; more pulling apart than coming together as politicians, advocates and ordinary people look to find someone or some group to blame. This is what we wake to this morning on a day that is becoming all too commonplace in America because hate has reared its ugly head yet again. Now after identifying the cowards who once again destroyed the lives of countless families with just the pull of a trigger the networks ask – will the FBI now call this terrorism? And my question is does it really matter?

To be clear terrorism in general is any act designed to cause terror. It is not something that is new to America it has been around for over a century. The KKK for example is a terrorist organization. Now there are different reasons that individuals or groups carry out terrorist attacks but at the end of the day every single one of these so called “mass shootings” have been acts of terrorism. The press or the government waiting to determine the race, religion, or political affiliation of individuals who carry out these heinous acts before they decide what to label it is nothing more than politics at its worst.

But again I ask what does it really matter? Because no matter what we call it, today we will still mourn for those innocent souls lost yesterday. We still look on with grief at the pain their families must endure. Because no matter how we label it, hate continues to chip away at our collective morality as a species. Hate, unless we find a way to defeat it will undoubtedly be the downfall of us as a people and when we’re gone it won’t matter how we labeled it.
