The Aliens have decided – We are not Worthy

Alien #1: Are you prepared today with your recommendation on the humans?

Alien #2: I am.

Alien #1: Then this evaluation hearing shall come to order. Please proceed.

Alien #2: Thank you. As you know, I have always been an advocate of humans as a species because of their cognitive ability. When tasked with evaluating them, it was my hope that I would find them to be worthy of admission into the Collective of Advanced Planets; however, as I studied them, I was dismayed that they have not even identified themselves as one species.

Alien #1: What do you mean?

Alien #2: When faced with their differences, they do not draw strength from each other, learn from each other, grow. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Rather they choose to make it us versus them. They are drawing lines of race, ethnicity, gender, language group, religion, age, socio-economic status, and so on. That, combined with their thirst for power and money, has led them, at best, to turn their back on and subjugate the weak or, at worst, kill each other. Undoubtedly this has stunted their development as a species.

Alien #1: Yet they still do not change. Why?

Alien #2: Well, I have theorized that the human mind, despite all its unique and special characteristics, is lazy.

Alien #1: Lazy?

Alien #2: Yes, lazy. The human mind prefers to be comfortable. It is more comfortable accepting that which is familiar than that which is different. Even when they come to the realization that their actions are morally wrong and counterproductive, they choose the comfort of turning a blind eye rather than the discomfort of confronting it. Their nature is to live in the moment at the expense of their future good. One can see that in how they treat their own planet. Coupled that with their creation of and need for a socio-economic system in which each group strives to climb over the other. I can only surmise that over the course of their history, there has been a loss of a great many minds that, if not extinguished, would have flourished and led to the growth of their species. Regrettably, it is this lack of self-awareness that humans, despite many tremendous qualities, have proven they are not ready to join us.

Alien #1: Thank you; we will enter your recommendation into the record, and the human’s admission to the Collective of Advanced Planets has been denied.

Prayer and Meditation. Medicine for the Mind, Body and soul

I have recently taken to a form of prayer and mediation. I find a quiet place, sit up straight, and plant my feet firmly so that the world’s positive energy flows up through the ground and my body. I endeavor to clear my mind of all distractions and close my eyes. I visualize myself relaxed and smiling as the hand of the Lord touches and begins to heal me. Heal me physically, heal me mentally and heal me spiritually. Then I pray these words.
Heavenly Father, I ask that you lay your healing hands upon my heart so that it is made stronger and able to carry the blood of life that you have blessed us with through out my entire body. I ask this Heavenly Father so that I may live a long life to shout your praise to all who will hear me. I ask this Heavenly Father so that through the special gifts you have bestowed upon me; I can share them with others so that they too can see your greatness and be motivated and inspired to help others reach for the stars. I ask this so that I can be an example to never give up your faith and trust in you even when it appears things are not going as well as they would like at the moment. I ask this Heavenly Father so that I may awake each day blessed with the senses you have so blessed me with to take in and appreciate the beauty and wonders of this magnificent world you have created for us. I ask this Heavenly Father so that I may continue to enjoy the fellowship and love of family, friends, and even strangers who you have so seen fit to place in my path as I travel this spiritual journey. I ask this Heavenly Father because, in my faith, I know that while man can help me maintain my health, mind, and spirituality, only you can truly heal my mind, body, and soul. I ask all of this in your name Heavenly Father. Amen
Then I open my eyes pause for a moment to allow the energy of the Lord to travel through my body. After a brief moment of silence and reflection with the energy of the Lord flowing through me, I close my eyes again and say the following: “The Lord is healing me I am getting stronger every day.” I repeat this for 5, 10, 15 minutes, whatever I am most comfortable with that day. When I am done, I remain sitting quietly, letting the power of the Lord flow throughout my body. Finally, I stand up and go about my day relaxed, renews, and encouraged by the knowledge that I am in God’s world and in his world nothing is impossible.

When there was nothing there was everything. There was the Lord.

As I awake today, I give praise to the Lord for yet another beautiful day and make no mistake, each day we are blessed with the ability to walk upon this amazing planet we call Earth is a beautiful day.
Have you ever wondered how our existence came to be? How have we evolved, our planet formed, the universe sprang out of nothingness? I have almost every day, and while I do not have the evidence of those who believe that our universe’s existence is simply a matter of science, nor do I dispute what science has taught us about the universe. I always come back to the question. What was there before that?
The universe started with a Big Bang. Alright, I’m buying that is probably true. But what was there before the universe exploded out of an incredibly hot, infinitely dense speck of matter? What was there before there was anything? Who or what set the whole thing in motion? Scientists will continue to theorize that question looking for the answer in some tangible evidence. There is no need to look for tangible proof for those of us with faith, for we realize the evidence is now and has always been all around us. We recognize that the world on which we walk, the universe that the world exists in, and our very own existence is simply too perfect to be explained away as the result of a set of unknown circumstances that happened in such a fashion that we were created. We accept that a higher power could only conceive such a complex and beautiful existence and that higher power is the Lord.
Our faith is a love for the Lord. A love so strong that when others question our faith when evil tempts us to abandon it when science mocks it, we do not turn our back on it and let it wither away. Instead, we are energized to embrace it, to strengthen it. Through our faith, we acknowledge that it is the Lord’s grand design that puts everything in motion. That it is only through the Lord’s blessings that we can use science to answer many of our questions about the universe, it is our faith that tells us that when there was “nothing,” there was everything because there was the Lord.
