The Alt-Right’s sins against the Lord.

One of the significant aspects of American society is the right to free speech. No matter how hateful and divisive it is. No matter how vile you may take the message to be, it is the right of every individual or group to voice their opinion freely.

This weekend exactly one year after Unite the Right, the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, many of the same white-nationalist, paramilitary, and other right-wing groups are planning to come together again — this time, in Washington, D.C.

In many ways, it is a good thing that these groups are permitted to use their first amendment right to hold these rallies as it sheds light on the vile, dangerous and disgusting message of division and hate they preach. A spotlight for the rest of America to witness and be repulsed by, hopefully forcing them to admit there is cancer in America that needs to be removed. Discussions about race and social inequalities can not be swept under the rug any longer but must be confronted head-on if we are ever going to move forward as a nation.

These rallies also shine a light on the sins of those individuals who preach hate. The majority of them call themselves Christians but deny the undeniable; we are all one created in the image of our Lord.

27 So God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. – Genesis 1:27

They presuppose that they are greater than the Lord they claim to worship. That they have the right to determine which of the Lord’s children are worthy and which are not. A direct rejection of the Lord’s commandment to us. As is written in John 13:34:

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another

The Lord created each of us in His image. He loves each of us unconditionally. He does not play favorites based on the color of our skin or our religious beliefs.

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. – Galatians 3:26-29

Since the beginning, it has been the Lord’s desire for us to live together in peace and unity.

1 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! – Psalms 133:1

And He warned us to avoid those who would speak differently!

17. Now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. 18. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words, they deceive innocent people. – Romans 16:17-18

So this weekend, let us stand at a distance, watch and expose to the world those with malice in their hearts, sinners against the Lord.

Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. – Ephesians 5:11

But as with all things with the Lord, reject their beliefs but be prepared to forgive those among them who repent their sins and ask for help in finding their way back onto the path of spirituality.

Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. – Galatians 6:1

Evil may tempt us but the Lord shall lead us to the path of righteousness

In our pursuit of earthly wealth and power, it is often easy to fall into the company of and work in partnership with those whose intentions are far from righteous.
Evil rarely presents itself as evil. Evil never sleeps, always tempting us, masquerading as good by falsely communicating its intention to work in our favor. It blinds us to the evidence that in our association with it, we are slowly being stripped of our compassion for our fellow man and are more than willing to take advantage of, subjugate and even kill each other to advance our personal agenda. It corrupts us into pitting ourselves against each other by exploiting inherent fears and prejudices that reside in each of us. It persuades us to create division to protect our own power and wealth. As our association with evil advances our cachet in society and swells our bank accounts, it is easier for our faith to waiver and our relationship with the Lord to widen.
Avoiding this temptation is not easy. We are, after all, only human and to be humans is to be inherently flawed. Left alone, history has shown us our willingness to sin when we believe that sin would benefit our lot in life. We even have used our so called “religious” beliefs as an excuse to commit one of the most heinous of sins by waging war against and taking the lives of fellow humans whose views differ from ours.
How do we avoid this? It is only through the Lord that we can temper our innate desire to sin. Like with our physical bodies, we must commit to an exercise program to strengthen our faith. Through daily prayer, praise, and conversations with the Lord, our spirituality grows. We come to understand that no amount of wealth and power here on the Earth can compare to the eternal existence that awaits us in the Lord’s paradise. Through our strengthened spirituality, we are guided to the path of righteousness and blessed with the courage required to rebuke evil. Through our spirituality, we can recognize that we are weak, and it is ok to ask the Lord for help in overcoming our desire to sin. It is our faith that enables us to see that spiritual riches are far greater than physical ones. Only when we embrace these concepts and give our lives to the Lord will we truly become one with the Lord and reap all the blessings that association will rain down upon us.

The Lord will always be with you

Something is weighing heavy on your soul. You seem lost and on the brink of no return. Yet you have turned away from your most powerful ally, the Lord. Maybe you are worried about how He will react if you talk to Him about your troubles. Perhaps you think that because in good times, you have gone so long without talking to Him and now feared his reaction when you reach out to him in times of despair. Maybe you think that if you let Him in, you’ll be a burden to Him. That you only are coming to Him because of the adversity you are facing. Maybe you think He doesn’t care. Why else would you be in this situation if He did? But what you should know is very simply this – the Lord will never let you walk alone. Not today, not tomorrow. You are His child, and there will never be anything you cannot talk to Him about—nothing you can not overcome with Him by your side. If you have faith in Him, there will never be a time He will not be there for you. He does these things not because He has to. But because of His love for us, an everlasting love. A love that saw Him give us His only son so that we may be forgiven of sin. Embrace Him, praise Him, talk to Him, free yourself from worry and have faith that He will unburden your soul from the troubles that are consuming you.

It is through our faith that we shall be relieved of despair

There are times we feel overwhelmed. Times when we put too much on our shoulders, we blame ourselves for all that is wrong. We each have to deal with our issues in our way. However, it is more comfortable dealing with our problems for all of us when we know that there is someone who loves us, there to pick us up when we fall, lean on when we cry. For those of us with faith, we know that someone is the Lord.

When we were conceived, we were pure and free from worry. It was that purity that bonded us with the Lord. But we corrupted it, swayed into disobeying the Lord by the forces of evil we ate from the tree of knowledge and were stripped of that purity and thrown out of paradise. We would now know adversity and hardship. Despair and heartbreak would become part of who we were. Man would no longer live in harmony but look to take advantage of each other for their selfish reasons. Fortunately for us, the Lord is forgiving, and he did not give up on us as it is written in John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The Law of Attraction uses the power of our mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. When we honor the Lord through praise and prayer, we are embracing the Lord, strengthening our faith in him and thus discovering the roadmap to eternal life and materializing his blessings on to us. These blessings include the strength, a strength so strong only He can truly give to us, to overcome any adversity in our journey to happiness. When we would connect with the Lord on this spiritual level we come to understand that He is all-powerful and He is the only ally we need.
